Hey everyone! Apologies for the huuuuuuge absence lately. Things have turned rather crazy here in Rachyland. My life has become even more like a sitcom, which I usually blame on the fact that our student-house looks just like a house you’d find on any American sitcom from the 70s. But these days I tend to just blame it on my own magnetism for drama. That and a series of maddening issues I’ve developed over time. Either way.

Anyway, yes. I’ve been in a very drawing-mood lately, so hopefully I’ll be able to churn out deviations on a more regularly basis. Sewing-wise, I’m working on my Chun Li costume for Sam’s party. It’s going… well. I guess. (It’s really not. It’s such a ball-ache. Help me! Help meeeee! >_< ) After that, I’m going to recon my She-Ra t-shirt, levelling it up to all kinds of cute.

In other news, my romantic life has become a cartoon, with my coital life some kind of terrible, apocalyptic hentai. Anyone seen Urotsukidoji?

Actually, do. It’s really really funny

The final year of university is over, so now I’m just bumming about in Nottingham, waiting for a decision to fall into my lap. I started writing Bluntslide, but then I saw the film Rushmore and fell in love. I decided that the best thing to do with Chapter One, that first, abysmal novel of mine, was to rewrite it in the style of a Wes Anderson film. So now I’m working on that. It’s going quite well. I’m about five pages in and they’ve already drank about fifty cups of coffee. I take this as a very good sign.

Last week, I did the Cancer Research Race for Life, in loving memory of my gran, who passed away six months ago from pancreatic cancer, and my grandad, who passed away just nine days ago from lung cancer. It’s been really tough for my family, but the race kind of brought us together, and helped give us a sense of closure, I guess.

But I still miss you, Gran and Grandad. It’s cruel that such lovely people have to die xxx
